REBECCA BASSHAM

Rebecca Bassham is a health educator who after working as a medical imaging specialist seeing sickness and disease studying the brain from the inside out, has committed her life to helping people to become healthier through facilitation of mind-body awareness teaching self-regulation skills vs. pills. She is board certified in Neurofeedback (BCN), Quantitative EEG technologist (QEEG-T), and HRV, a licensed Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), holds a BS degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Health promotions from CSUF, completed a fellowship in Special Imaging (CT and MRI) at Loma Linda University and studied Applied Psychophysiology at Saybrook University. Rebecca has worked in the field of health and wellness for over 25 years with experience to include employee health, facilitating lifestyle change programs, and promoting community health education and outreach through radio, television, email news campaigns, and establishing an organic produce distribution system in the desert of Arizona. After discovering the power and healing of neurofeedback within her own family, she embarked on her studies of neuroscience in 2010. After working on private practice specializing in Brain Fitness, Rebecca is now the Director of Neurosciences at Pure Recovery Ca. helping people, including professional athletes, to recover from addictions and traumatic brain injury through qEEG Brain Mapping and live 3D sLORETA Imaging to visualize what the brain is doing, during which EEG Biofeedback (neurofeedback) and HRV (Heart Rate Variability) biofeedback training are applied. She is a BCIA-approved mentor for aspiring neurofeedback practitioners. Rebecca facilitates groups with life and wellness coaching to include brain fitness strategies, nutrition, exercise, goal-setting, mindfulness, stress management, and time management for a holistic, alternative approach to improve cognitive function. She also facilitates an equine experience program with her clients.
